Registration is available for Philadelphia High Schools and their seniors. We would like for the entire city of Philadelphia to participate in College Signing Day.
This event is open to ALL public, charter, private, parochial schools in Philadelphia. Cyber and homeschool students and families in Philadelphia are welcome as well.
Registration ends April 15, 2019
Registration Guidelines:
Registration is reserved for PHILADELPHIA High School students(public, charter, private, and parochial).
On Wednesday, May 1st, #ReachHigherPhilly will host its 5th Annual College Signing Day at Temple University’s Liacouras Center. Students from across Philadelphia’s public, private, charter, and parochial schools are invited to attend (along with parents and volunteers for the event).
Each high school is invited to bring seniors who have received at least one letter of acceptance from a college or university or have plans to join the military. College Signing Day will begin with registration and opportunities to meet colleges and universities. Remarks will be made by Dr. Hite, The School District of Philadelphia Superintendent, key elected officials, celebrities, and our Keynote Speaker.This event is expected to draw over 6,000 college-bound students, volunteers, and champions of higher education.
Be sure to wear a college shirt of your choice to celebrate with us.

PRE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. There will be NO ON-SITE ADMISSION. Doors open at 9:45 am.
We need your help to make this event a success! If your school is interested in participating, please register by April 15.
Homeschool and/or Cyber School Students:
Please use the student registration ticket. Parents/Guardians must accompany homeschooled/cyber school students to the event. Parent must individually register for a parent ticket. Photo ID is REQUIRED
Parents/Guardians of Philadelphia School Students:
A limited amount of tickets are reserved for parents to accompany Philadelphia HS senior cyber and homeschool students. Parents, please encourage your child's school to register as a group. Photo ID is REQUIRED

Chaperones:
The student to chaperone ratio is 10:1. Please make sure you have the appropriate number of chaperones accompanying your students.
Security:
For security purposes, all individuals will go through a metal detector upon entry. BOOKBAGS/LARGE BAGS and OUTSIDE FOOD/DRINK ARE NOT ALLOWED inside The Liacouras Center. Students can leave backpacks at school or on their buses, which will be locked during the event. Security would like to keep purses restricted to "clutch size" handbags.
In addition, ALL ATTENDEES MUST HAVE A PHOTO ID. This includes students, parents, teachers, chaperones, and volunteers.
Lunch:
LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED!!!!!! Please let your students know that OUTSIDE FOOD IS NOT ALLOWED inside the Liacouras Center. CONCESSIONS WILL BE OPEN. Please let your students know to bring money for food/drink.
Dress: This is a celebratory/casual event. All attendees are encouraged to wear your college t-shirt and paraphernalia. Students are encouraged to wear their future college t-shirts. Formal attire is not required.
